Commuting to Ebene and Moka
If your working day starts in a tower in Ebene or an office park in Moka, you are in the densest commute on the island, and density is exactly what makes a car buddy easy to find.
Everybody arrives at once
Cybercity, the Moka business parks and the call centres around them run to synchronised hours. That means a great many people leaving the same villages inside the same half hour, which is the easiest possible thing to match.
Shift work makes it better rather than worse. If you start at seven, or at two, the people who share that hour with you are a small and consistent group.
The car park is the other half of the problem
Every driver who arrives alone needs a space. Two people in one car is one space returned, one car out of the roundabout queue, and one less lap looking for somewhere to leave it.
Take turns, or just take a lift
You are not committing to drive. Say you have a car, say you need a lift, or say you would like to alternate. Most people who alternate end up doing so with somebody who lives ten minutes from them and works one floor away.
If you run a company here
There is a page for that. It costs nothing, you run nothing, and your staff sort their own commute out between themselves.
Two pins and your usual times is the whole signup.
